Ashley Stinson
Intermediate Student Practitioner
My name is Ashley, and I am a dedicated equine bodyworker with certification in various modalities, including massage, craniosacral therapy, Equi-Bow, kinesiology taping, red light and laser therapy, and saddle assessments. I also hold a diploma in Equine Science from the University of Guelph.
My journey into equine bodywork began in 2020, following a severe injury to my gelding. Faced with a lack of available help, I took it upon myself to learn and apply bodywork techniques for his rehabilitation. This experience ignited my passion for a holistic approach, focusing on creating optimal environments and identifying root causes of issues affecting horses.
As I progressed in my practice, I observed a recurring pattern: the health of horses’ hooves often correlated with their overall posture and response to bodywork. This led me to delve deeply into hoof health, attending trimming clinics and workshops in 2023. I began trimming my own horses, witnessing significant improvements in their movement and overall well-being. This pivotal discovery motivated me to enroll in the PHCP program in 2024 to further enhance my practice. I am committed to continuous learning and regularly participate in clinics, workshops, and webinars to refine my skills and better serve my clients.
Currently, I am accepting clients in Southwestern Ontario. Please feel free to reach out to me via email or text. Additionally, I am a fitter for Scoot Boots and offer PureSole products.
