I am a hoofcare practitioner serving horses, mules, donkeys, and minis in north-central New Mexico, including Santa Fe, Los Cerrillos, Madrid, El Dorado, Lamy, and Edgewood. My focus is on helping horses thrive barefoot through trimming that leads to comfortable, correct movement, supported by a holistic approach to diet, exercise, and environment. I do use additional materials and protection when needed to help the hoof grow stronger structure, including glue-on composite shoes. My original background was in fine art sculpture, and I really enjoy being able to repurpose my eye for 3D forms and skills with a variety of materials to help horses, especially those recovering from hoof pathology.
