Prospective Mentor application

Once your recommendation from a Mentor has been received and approved you will be notified and may submit this application. Please wait for this notification before submitting an application.

Please take as much space as necessary to tell us about yourself. The Prospective mentor evaluation is done by the PHCP Evaluation Committee. Assume that these committee members have never met you and are not familiar with your work, as will be the case for most of them. This application is one of the opportunities for you to present yourself to the committee. Tell them about your experiences, your understanding of nontraditional farriery, and why you feel you will be able to further the education of students in our program, following the PHCP model and theories behind rehabilitation and maintenance of the hoof through function and the consideration of the whole horse.
