Intermediate Student Practitioner

Hello! Thank you for considering me as a partner on your horses’ health care team! I take a holistic and natural approach to hoof care with a focus on keeping the horse comfortable during my trims. I am patient, calm and mindful when working with all animals.

I have been an animal lover and caretaker my whole life including our family’s dogs and cats and my favorite horses. I began professionally taking care of animals about 10 years ago, starting my own pet and house sitting business, including ranch and farm animal care. In 2021, I volunteered as a groom at a therapeutic riding center and I am still working there. In 2022 I became interested in hoof care and decided to offer hoof care as part of my animal care services. I a shadowed several experienced professionals in my area whom I continue to have in my networking group. Also ewent down the online rabbit hole of research.

In 2023 I decided to formalize and further my training and joined the PHCP training and mentoring program. I have successfully completed the beginning training program. I also continue positive relationships with several local experienced trimmers. I am happy to offer trimming services as an Intermediate Student Practitioner. I am also a dealer for Red Horse Products like Artimud and Hoof Stuff. As part of my continuing education I am working on becoming a boot fitter and dealer for Easy Care and Scoot Boots and I will be offering glue on shoes as a future service.

I service the East and North San Francisco Bay area including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin and
