I began trimming my own horses in 2020 out of a desire to save money and be more hands on in their care. My farrier showed me the basics and after about a year I decided to pursue hoof trimming as a career. In April, 2022, I completed the Mackinaw Dells II Whole Horse Hoof-Care Certification program with Ida Hammer. I am happy to be continuing my education by working with a diverse set of mentors through the PHCP certification program!

I am based in Dubuque, Iowa and serve horses and their owners located within 1.5 hours’ drive of my home. In addition to hoof trimming I also offer boot fitting, diet analysis and mineral balancing. I love helping horses and their owners achieve better health and soundness through optimized trim, diet and lifestyle!
