Presenter Contract
Duties and Expectations
A PowerPoint or other slide show presentation is the recommended media choice. Internet connection can be unreliable depending on location, so we advise against the use of videos in the presentation if possible. If you would like to share videos, we can send the video links to the participants before or after the presentation. The presentation length will be decided ahead of time (usually 1.5-2 hours). We strongly urge presenters to stay as close to that time limit as possible to ensure that all of our attendees can be present for the entire presentation, and have time to ask questions.
We ask that you promote your presentation via social media, newsletter, website, etc, to increase attendance. The live Zoom and Zoom recording links will be provided by PHCP to the Presenter.
We require the presenter to log in to the meeting 30 minutes prior to the time of the webinar.
Hosts
Your hosts are Jeannean Mercuri (631-434-5032) and Kathy Coleman (413-310-4692).
The host will be available to set up a trial run prior to the webinar to give the presenter a chance to practice logging in, sharing their screen, and get familiar with the Zoom platform.
The host will log in to the webinar 30 minutes prior to the event. The host will give a short introduction about the presenter before the webinar begins and will be available throughout the presentation for technical support and will help field questions.
Payment
The Presenter will receive a flat rate for the webinar which will include all sessions if there are more than one. Payment will be in the form of a PayPal, check, direct deposit or Zelle transfer.
Recording availability options
Expiration of the recording options include 2 weeks, 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years. The presenter determines the length of time the recording will be available. If the recording is available for 6 months or more, the presenter will receive additional payment for each 6 month period of extended access to the recording.
Recording availability increases sign ups. The recorded webinar is available for attendees to view as many times as they would like prior to the recording expiration date. During this time the webinar will remain available for purchase on the PHCP website.
Upon expiration, the recording is deleted. It will not be available for future use unless the presenter requests that we save it. Only the presenter will have the option of downloading the recording immediately after the webinar. Viewers will not have the option of downloading the recording.
