Emily Goldsborough

Intermediate Student Practitioner

73 credits completed in the past year.

Hi! My name is Emily and I am a hoof care provider based in Temecula (DeLuz), in Southern California. I specialize in working with horses who prefer or require gentle, strategic handling due to pain, age, past traumas, and more! Creating a calm, safe, and unified environment is my priority when working with my clients and their horses in order to provide the most successful long-term results possible.

I began trimming in 2020 and have been loving every minute of learning. In the last several years I’ve trimmed across the United States in climates ranging from the Arizona desert to the humid coast of Virginia. I’ve worked with a wide variety of hooves shaped by each environment as well as some of the accompanying pathologies. The other half of my career is rehabilitating horses using positive reinforcement (clicker training). I’ve trained horses who’ve never been touched by a human to horses who have been to the Olympics, allowing me to see that the language they use is the same and that every horse is capable of great adaptation and growth. The variety of horses I’ve worked with have helped me to become a better, more attuned equine professional, and I am thrilled to be able to offer my clients that experience.

Apart from constantly learning, studying, and working with horses, I do try to maintain some semblance of life outside of work! I have a passion for western fashion and love to dance country swing, snowboard, play an occasional game of hockey, and feed my dogs table scraps when no one is looking.

The best ways to contact me are:
– By inquiry form on my website (www.clickercowgirl.com/inquiries)
– Via text/call at (480) 630-5960

I try to be prompt with my response time, however I am very human – if you don’t hear back from me within 48 hours, please do not hesitate to ping me again!
