This webinar will be an introduction to the art of applying glue-on shoes. We will cover the variety of shoes available for therapeutic and performance applications, types of glue and packing available, materials and tools needed to be successful when applying glue-ons, a step-by-step application guide, and tips and tricks for successful gluing.

For some hands on learning to follow up, check out Deanna’s Glue-on Hoof Protection clinic in Ridge, NY this spring.

Deanna Stoppler began her hoof care journey in 2012 after attending and graduating from Mission Farrier School in Snohomish, WA. As a farrier she learned to nail on steel and aluminum shoes, to build therapeutic clogs from scratch and glue them to the hoof, and to cast. In 2015 and 2016 Deanna was selected as a Easyboot Elite team member to glue Easyboot Glove shells on horses competing in the Tevis 100-mile Endurance Ride. After nine years of developing her craft, she transitioned away from the application of steel and aluminum shoes and instead offers only composite shoeing, barefoot trimming, and boot fitting. Deanna is a certified Progressive Hoof Care Practitioner and owner of Horse & Sole Hoof Care in Underhill, VT.
